Crossover game between Square-Enix and another Dev - Brainstorm ideas

What Square-Enix IPs would you like to crossover with another Studio IPs? What kind of game would it be?

I personally would like to see a fighting game, more precisely Capcom vs Square-Enix!! Which I find really funny how this hasn´t happened yet, considering all the VS crossovers that Capcom has made over the past two decades.

Another crossover that I can think would be Shin Megami Tensei x Final Fantasy, they perhaps don't have many things in common but what they do have in common is .... the final boss being a god/deity !!
Gameplay would be like of a Dungeon Crawling game.

Not really a crossover between 2 specific franchises, but I'd love to see SE make something with Treasure, especially since they haven't done anything worthwhile in years, whether it's something with an existing franchise or a totally new IP. I'm picturing something with SE-level visual design and Treasure-style gameplay. Maybe even throw a Square-like story in!

I never played Super Mario RPG but as far as I know, outisde of being developed by Square-Soft, it contains NINTENDO only IPs, right?. The point of the thread is to make a crossover between two developers IPs, not a collaboration/licensed game between the two.

Oh. If that's the intent, I'd make a joke about it and make "Squaresoft X Enix". Have characters from one side be characters from Final Fantasy, SaGa, Seiken Densetsu and all the standalone titles like Xenogears and Chrono Trigger and have the other side feature characters from Dragon Quest, Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean, Drakengard and all the pick'n'mix Enix published throughout the years (like Terranigma), maybe throw in Estpolis for good measure (which is now owned by Square Enix due to them buying Taito).

What would I make of it? Well, an RPG, similar to Namco X Capcom/Project X Zone would be my choice, though I'd turn it into a story-driven RPG about an evil so powerful it could destroy all the universes (think Chaos from Dissidia, but times 100) and only the combined efforts of all heroes from all these games could stop it. Probably also work towards making it fit thematically, like having the people from Star Ocean hang around the folks from Xenogears and the guys from SaGa work with the Valkyries from VP. The soundtrack will be a combined effort of Shimomura, Sakuraba, Sakimoto and His Mitsudaness and to top it off, Monolith Software develops it as an NX exclusive so people will know where all this stuff was originally on.

@Lulcielid Just shitty costume DLC is awful imo, it doesn't do either series justice.

If you were to ask me what FF I'd like them to make though with no restrictions I'd love to see a space FF, for the record. Not Star Ocean, that shit is generally bad, but in a B-Movie sort of way. FF isn't that; it could do better.
