I know, right? It felt terrible and I almost considered restarting at several points, but I forced myself through it. :( Ended up with one of the neutral endings (probably the worst one
where things are looking grim in the Underground and Sans tells you to go to hell)

I think I'll replay it soon and go for the true pacifist ending. Though I read that the game tracks all your kills even if you reload your save or start a new game, so I hope I didn't screw myself out of anything. According to Gamefaqs the only way to completely corrupt your file to the point where you'd need to reinstall the game is to get the full genocide ending, but I guess I'll find out!

I didn't screw up that much on my first try
even though I killed every boss except Papyrus.
I came back for the True Pacifist ending and it was really worth it. Try it.

FFIX, got excited for new ports so I busted out the ol' PS1.
SMT Nocturne (Hard Mode, Solo, TDE challenge). Because why not?
KH3D, just started my very first playthrough this evening. Kinda gonna take some getting used to playing on 3DS.

So, uh,
I didn't lock myself out of getting the true pacifist ending by choosing to kill Flowey at the end of my normal run, did I? Cause I've seen conflicting info on that.

Get ready for the most bullshit plot twist of the entire series. And I know what you're thinking: "But ScienceNonfiction! The Kingdom Hearts series is already known for its bullshit storyline!" This one's different though. This is the bullshit plot twist to end all bullshit plot twists. I feel like they just said "Screw it, the story's already so stupidly complex and ridiculous that we're just gonna make it as convoluted and incomprehensible as possible."

But hey, guess it's my fault for actually trying to follow the story of these games! I'm guessing that, like most people, you're probably smart enough to have stopped caring already.

Joy! I'm curious to see how deep the bs rabbit hole gets in this series lol, but yeah I'm definitely one of those that just kinda plays for the experience now.

Yeah, at least the gameplay is pretty good in that particular entry (as it is in most of them). I remember the boss fights being very enjoyable (and they're replayable, which is nice).

Very happy to see some Falcom games on this list, while I never really did get into Ys that much, the kiseki (trails) series has been in my wheelhouse of JRPGs for years. Glad to see more people getting into it

Started Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel on Vita.
Got Yakuza 5 on PS3 to bust through.
And bought new phone, so I'm back to being addicted to Triple Triad.

Yeah, I've been a big fan of Falcom ever since I got into Ys way back in the day when I got a Turbo Duo for Christmas.

I've mostly been playing Street Fighter V lately.

My local GameStop held a SFV tourny today. Wasn't a big event but there was a PlayStation rep there hosting it. I didn't get to use my stick as there were no chairs. Did my best with Ryu on a standard PS4 pad and came in third. What really surprised me, though, was how many young kids that were there, hype as fuck, and even kinda knowledgeable about SF. The kid who stood next to me the whole time I was playing was probably 8 or 9, wearing a SFV beanie, and kept telling me to stick with Ryu 'cause he's a beast, lol. He even knew the names of pretty much all of Ryu's moves and a few combo's. That shit brought a smile to my face, can't lie. GameStop and PlayStation should do more of these but maybe get it a little better organized. I like seeing young people enthusiastic about fighting games.

Due to the hype surrounding SFV, I decided to play some fighting games that I had (still not a hardcore fan of this genre but I like it).
Over the next week it will mainly be The King of Fighter 2002 UM edition.
