Wow, I have so many video game music I could list. I shouldn't even try to bother. But lately this track has been on my mind so I should share it. ^_^
This is actually making me buy and play that Tales game right now....
Not only this piece is so beautiful, it reminds of me of the night theme in the city of Ul'dah, from XIV: A Realm Reborn, with more Piano and a little less string in it.
Which I might as well.....

This is really nice to hear it either in the game or when you look up at the night sky, wherever you're living. Especially the music bit around 1:58

Though it's technically not 'video game music', Final Fantasy VII Advent Children's Promised Land is my personal fave.

There's just so much ethereal depth to this one piece, it almost sounds borderline frightening. While I'm a fan of the original FFVII soundtrack, (Tifa's theme always gets me) Advent Children's music shows to be more modern & dynamic, specifically Promised Land.

Shame on you, @Wazi the pa for forcing me to pick just one!

Hey, hey, hey! I didn't specify to just pick one. You can always come back here and post another of your favorite video game music. :p

Speaking of Advent Children, I actually watched the movie two nights ago...... So the soundtrack made me emotional somewhat..... Really need to play Crisis Core soon......

Wow, what a lovely track! I really enjoyed it. :)

You might also like the battle themes in Tales of Legendia. This one plays on some important bosses.

Y'know, as much as I love VII, I've actually never played/watched any of the spinoffs...
Oh! Don't miss out! If you want to play something emotional, you should play Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
Advent Children is the movie for those who wants to know what happens after the main game.

But out of the two, my best bet for you to try is Crisis Core.

Yeah, I always hear great things about Crisis Core and I hear Advent Children isn't half bad either.

So maybe I'll just play Dirge of Cerberus. :p

The story was somewhat not interesting...... You'll find out when you dig up some research to the game.
I first played the game because you get to play as Vincent for the Playstation 2. That was mind blowing for me at the time. :p

That's really good to know. I played a teeny bit and got bored of Dirge of Cerberus and I did really like parts of Advent Children, but I never picked up Crisis Core.

I think the AC soundtrack is better than the rest of the film imho, but I do just love the original FFVII soundtrack. I like to play the battle themes in my car while I'm fighting traffic :p

This piece from XII is so gentle........ Now I want to play XII again.... Hoping Square remasters the game. I would buy it the moment it comes out.
