You saw the ending without experiencing the setup and context behind it...
What if you saw the ending for FF7 without having played the game? I guarantee you your reaction would be like "What's this green shit coming out of the planet? Wtf is everyone doing just standing around? What's this light? Aerith? That's it? Wtf kinda ending is this?!?"
Sorry but you just ruined the game for yourself.
The people who actually played the entire game even said that the latter half and the ending were amazing, most likely because they saw events in the proper order they were meant to see them in, thus enhancing the ending scenes impact.
I too have read the spoiler free impressions. I have no idea what happens in the game. All I know is everyone has said the game is great despite being flawed.
Heck they even said they loved it!
Personally I'm gonna enjoy the shit out of this game. I enjoyed 13, so this will be fun as fuck for me.
Characterisation is top notch they said with development for all 4 bros being excellent and that's all I wanted

The latter half of the story has been praised so the story in this regard seems exciting.
I'd rather slow beginning and excellent latter half and conclusion than the other way round tbh.

The ending got spoiled to me long ago (4chan leaks) tbh only reason I read the 4 chan leaks was cause everyone was calling them fake at that time, I came across a new thread on faqs a few days ago saying the 4chan leaks are real final boss is ------ (not spoiling the final boss for you) by seeing that thread I decided to watch the video just because I really wanted to confirm with my own eyes that the 4chan leaks were fake, but no they weren't. So yeah it was ruined a long time for me just cause some dumb leaker leaked everything way back in May.

I think it will be tweaked to differ a bit from the original. Heck I think there will be quite a few changes those who have played the original won't like, combat being one.
Personally I'm just happy to play the game no matter what.
If the ending gets leaked beforehand, I have no doubt newcomers reactions will be "wtf just happened? Man this was underwhelming".
Experiencing the game's scenarios in the proper order before viewing the ending is extremely important imo.

No, I just think you're stressing about it too much. The fact that you think some areas have been canned, and you can't explore this or that, and people are saying this and blah blah blah.
You're going to end up pressing ''New Game'' with an already partially disappointed view point and I think it's going to tarnish your experience of the game, which is a shame.
