In the seven years from "FF Versus Xiii" to "FFXV", was there a change in the character image of Noctis?

Suzuki >> "FF Versus Xiii" and "FFXV", have changed radically. When it was "FF Versus Xiii", it is said that it is more introverted than it is now, feeling is dilute, and it has a sense of blockiness a little, showing almost no sympathy except for the companion. In "FFXV", emotional expressions became rich, and the tone became modern young people. I was also surprised myself that it had become a character to speak with a rough feeling with anyone.

· In accordance with the change in the nature of Noctis, the play was rebuilt from the beginning, is not it?

Suzuki >> In order to respond to expectations, we discussed thoroughly with the development team and built up a new Noctis

So there ya go guys, this is translated from a friend of mine from Japan.

Tabata did change just everything!

What's your main point here if I may ask?

That change is bad? Tabata is the enemy and we should unite with our pitchforks and storm SE HQ?

Or should we all chime in with something akin to "You're right! Omg they changed Noctis! Man the team sucks! Nomura should've directed this game!"

So which one is it? Or is "all of the above" the correct answer here?

I've always enjoyed a good trivia. Let's see which one is correct *rubs hands together in anticipation*

tbh i didn't get introverted vibes from noctis in XV, so i wouldn't be surprised if that translation was true; the "trying to be cool" was present in the game at least.

i would have preferred introvert noctis, in XV i think he's to nice and it lacks some kind of edginess (in the end chapters he's badass tho); on the other way, a stoic character wouldn't be as relatable, XV characters are like human beings and easy to get into.

Come off it. That ending sentence was practically egging people to jump on the director bashing bandwagon.

Developers make changes all the time, not just for this game, but any game.

Bashing directors, any director for that matter, is an ill advised pastime.

You gotta stop being so obvious if you're trying to troll dude. Gotta lift that game a little.

@NoctisX21 It's all about how you angle your post FYI.

Sharing past development material from the perspective of "check this out, isn't this interesting and cool?" is infinitely better than "man the director changed everything! He totally sucks!"

Given your posting history it's not hard to discern that your stance is the latter.

People would receive your opinions better if you stopped trying to incite wars like you've done in the past.

he's just showing them, no problems detected.
I wish that were the case since the material itself is very interesting and excellent for genuine discussion

However given his history of director flaming and extreme negativity, I highly doubt it unfortunately.

Starting a conversation with "Tabata did change everything!" with material trying to back his perspective that Tabata changes are infinitely bad (as reinforced by his past posts), he's practically inviting people to jump on the hate bandwagon.

The stoic broody characterization makes no sense to me given that Nomura outright said Noctis actual personality is different from the Versus trailers, his past interviews even line up with the current Noct.

I'll wait for Shuya for this.

People have already answered that.

The way you engage conversations with most of your posts comes across as someone trying to create a hivemind to initiate a flame war towards Tabata for making any changes from Versus to XV. Its blatant whether you disagree to it or not, thats where the problem lies.

So your friend is Google translate?:meh:

Q. In the 7 years between VersusXIII and XV, perhaps maybe there was a change of Noct's character image?
A.Suzuki. There was a sudden change from VersusXIII to XV. In VersusXIII, he was more of a introvert than he is now with a lack of emotion. He would barely show his true feelings to anyone besides his friends. He had sort of a locking oneself up character.
In XV, he has become very emotionally expressive and his vocal expression changed into a modern youngster. I was surprised that his character became one where he would to speak to anyone in a rough*(casual) manner.
*Looking at the JP Noctis, he doesn't use proper speech even to elders.

Q. So that means the story was also remade from the start to fit his change in character?
A.Suzuki. In the sense of living up to expectations, there were thorough discussions with the development team to build Noct's new character.
*It cuts off here.

I'm shocked NoctisX21 hasn't been added to people's ignore lists already. An obvious case of trolling if I ever saw one.
