The deleted content I would like to see back would be the deleted lines from Chapter 9, some of the lines of the lines from the original version of the reunion of Chapter 14, but without the 'True King' entity implications as those are unnecessary and I prefer how the final game turned out about it, and the deleted Ravus and Lunafreya lines from the flashback in Chapter 12, but that's just my opinion, feel free to agree or disagree, I'm interested in what you'd want back, if anything at all, I'm curious.
I'd want the content from the Noct-and-Luna flashbacks, the extension to the Ravus-and-Luna flashback, the extension to the Ravus-and-Ardyn scene, the extension to the Noct-and-Cid scene, the Noct-and-Weskham scene, the Luna-and-Gentiana scene, pretty much all of the NPC dialogue, and the "cut cables" setpiece for the Leviathan fight. But I feel like there would need to be some work done to tighten up the dialogue and make it feel less unnecessarily wordy, because much of it doesn't really flow naturally as the draft currently stands.

I agree, that there should be some edits to make them flow, and I'd also like to have gotten 'cut the cables', especially since the build up to the Leviathan fight was boring and felt cheap, this 'cutting the cables' part could've helped make things interesting and entertaining and flow better, but who knows how that would've gone and when it was deleted. But, in the end, the game is done, and we have future games to look forward to, but stuff like this is fun to discuss.

Yeah... the "cutting the cords" thing would have made a great Chapter 9 Verse 2, but it's possible that it was nowhere near complete enough for that to be financially viable. I do wish some of the simpler additions would have been added in the Royal Edition, though (especially since they had already showed themselves willing to make slight changes to canon).

I don't think that many scenes from XV flowed naturally, most of them ended abruptly and some of them without giving you relevant or clear information, failing to give you context of the situation.

The dialogue related about Regis death, for example, was extremely scarce, to the point it felt weird how fast it went by considering how important that moment was. Chapter 9 felt super rushed and the stakes were not clear, longer cutscenes could have alleviated those problems.

Maybe they ramped down story intensity to appeal to the open-world crowd, thinking they would be bored with long cutscenes.. They missed the mark either way.

The problem is that the game also lacked gameplay segments. Before fighting Leviathan Noctis only has to run through a corridor. If the cutscenes where longer without increasing those segments the game would drag a lot.
The game was rushed in all aspects and it would need an entire overhault to solve some of it's issues. Like having Ravus in Tenebrae at chapter 12 and having the chance to walk in some parts of the city.

I keep wondering what plans does Luminous Studio has for the game. I remember them teasing something at the las Active Time Report of Episode Ardyn. Like "We have some plans for the future".

Hmm I don't remember them teasing anything, maybe Stadia ver.?

I dont expect any updates, if any, until a remaster is released.

So this cut dialogue informs Shiva in her Gentiana form is powerless which would decently justify why her is completely absent in some pivotal events, like Luna's death.

It was only in Ghovota's Rift that she turned into Shiva and began a more active role, I guess the cut dungeon around her corpse would explain why.

Surprise, surprise... clearer objectives and context about what the fuck is happening in that segment.
As well as Titan being a guest character, something that may have been recycled/repurposed for Ifrit's party member status in Episode Ardyn. This could be an early, or the earliest version of the Trial of Titan we've seen so far.

Wow so that actually explains why Noct went from barely being able to win a race against Gladio to straight up parrying hits from Titan. Meaning that by the end he probably had a bunch of blessings from the Astrals he beat in addition to the Crystal's power and the royal magic. I had just rationalized it as him just channeling the royal magic to boost his strength like a Jedi channels the force to physically augment themselves during battle but that explanation actually does give Titan's trial, and the other trials by extension, more importance within the lore and story beyond just earning the ability to summon them. It's kinda baffling how much useful contextual dialogue was cut from the game.

Now I'm curious about the specifics of the other Astral's status buffs to Noct and it's also really putting Ardyn's threat level more into context considering Noct was canonically stacked with status effects and buffs while facing him and even then it was a really close fight against a half suicidal man. Really hope that if/when a FFXV re-release happens they take the time to add some of this context back in. The game made Square a boat load of money and broke records for the series so one would think that would warrant some extra effort in a potential re-release.

Given Squenix's current proclivities, I expect that to wait for the remake in 2039, when they remake the game into five 40-hour chunks of linear maps and reveal at the end of the first game that everything that happened so far took place in Versus XIII Noct's dreams. ;)

(I'll then laugh maniacally, load up a PC version modded to use raytracing and have crazy LOD levels, and thank my lucky stars that PS4 games aged far, far better than PSOne games.)

I used Google Translate on the words Calary7 posted above the content image,a nd it claimed that Carbuncle looks like Ardyn's habit, here's the content image.:

I told Google Translate just to translate "口癖" (as that's what followed "Aaden no" -- "Ardyn's"), and it explained that it was using "habit" to refer to a manner of speaking.

There's something important to remember, though:

Ardyn's style of speech is very different in Japanese than in English... and the localization team is well aware of all of the hidden context. If Carbuncle really was related to Ardyn, his speech pattern in English would be different.

Yeah, but I do find the Carbuncle thing funny, though it's horn is Ardyn's hair color and it's fur is similar to Ardyn's outfit back in his era 2000 years ago, but I think that doesn't mean anything. I brought it up because the dataminer found a Carbuncle image named "swf_ardyn".:

But again, I doubt it means anything.
